I have been using this product for a while now, i have seen an improvement with a dog who has a sensitive stomach, my dog also refuses to eat his food if this powder isnt on it, so it definatly passes the taste test.

I haven't been using this long for my dogs so it's hard to say for definite, but it seems to be a very good probiotic. I've only used probiotics short term before to help my dogs get over a poorly tummy, but they've got more sensitive as they've got older so I decided to move to a daily one and so far so good. They've had no problem eating it among their food and their toilets are very good. Also this is great value considering the short term probiotics I've used before is £15-£20 and only lasts 3 days for one of my dogs so trying this was a no brainer!

Its helped my 10 yr old lurcher dog no end, he was being sick/ upset tummy once every 3-4 weeks, if he finds something a cat or fox has left he is more than interested and we can't always get to it first to clear it up. I put him on a different probiotic to help him recover and he'd be fine on the probiotic but once off it'd start again so I looked for a good value probiotic I could use daily. He's been on this for 2 ½ weeks, no sickness and loads more energy. Its like we rolled the clock back! He'll stay on this now as he's really doing well.

Is it a powder or tablet form ?
This product is in powder form.

My pup is 20 wks ( 5 months ) old
She is prone to bouts of very runny tummies .
Could this product help to alleviate this
This is just the sort of product to try with a young dog and that sort of history. The alternative would be a change of diet. Some dogs do better on fish-based diets, or zero cereal diets. Depending on what you are using now, there might be a diet which would suit your dog better. You only find out by trying different diets. Ideally intorduce gradually over 5-7 days, then allow at least 4 weeks on the new diet to ascertain how things are going.
You might find that the prebiotic/probiotic combination works well anyway, but again you need to try it to find out. Essentially every dog is different and one cannot know beforehand what will definitely work.

Is the prebiotic in this product suitable for diabetic cats?
This is a good question, but prebiotics are in fact fine for diabetics. It should be fine to give to your cat.

Can the probiotics in this product make it through the acidic environment in a cats stomach to reach the intestines where they are needed?
You are right to ask this question, but all probiotics have to get through the stomach to be effective. I am sure that a proportion of them do not make it in a viable state, but this is taken into account by the manufacturer when deciding on formulation and quantity. Enough organisms are expected to make it to the small intestine to be able to help populate the gut with "useful" bacteria.

Can this be given to a puppy (10 weeks old)?
This can safely be used in any fully weaned dog, as long as excessive amounts are not given. Only small amounts are needed for young dogs, but it should help a puppy just as much as an older dog.
