is this food ok for a dog with Diabetes
Diabetic dogs can be fed any dog food but a change in food may change the insulin requirements of your dog. Ideally slow release carbohydrate based diets should be used to ensure blood sugar levels do not suddenly rise/fall throughout the day. Diabetic veterinary diets often contain these.
We recommend discussing any diet changes to your diabetic dog with your vet to ensure this is safe. Naturo canned food is safe for a diabetic dog but it may change the insulin requirements and it's important to run this past your vet first.
