How do I feed this?

My chickens loved this I put some in their normal pellets and mixed it it kept them occupied finding it

The hens live this and I use it as a treat sprinkled on their afternoon snack to make it go further. However the tub arrived with a smashed lid due to non existing packaging and a quarter of it was scattered all over the box, also had to fish out plastic bits out of it worrying the hens will ingest them. Contacted viovet - no response. Will never use the company again.
