Feeding Instructions: It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Period of use should be decided by the veterinarian and should be initially up to 6 months. Recommended daily amounts should be divided into smaller portions offered several times during the day. Feed the food dry or slightly moistened. Water should be available at all times. Recommended daily amounts are shown in the feeding table.

The vet recommended that the time had come to change his food to a hepatic food to support his liver. Out of all the different foods on the market this particular food has all the ingredients that the vet had recommended for his condition. His latest blood test has proved it has made improvements in his liver.

It's low protein but has some meat in it! First animal products our pup has eaten in 9 months. It smells and looks good and the other dog and 2 cats try to get at it too. I'd say it's good for liver shunt dogs to transition onto after prescription food when they've been treated
