I don't have working dogs, I have small/pet dogs.
I purchase this product to trial as one of my dogs has a very sensitive tummy and lamb is ok for her.
The texture of the food is like a really sticky soft paste and even after a night in the fridge it is pretty much the same so has to be spooned out but not a problem. I wiped the food off the spoon or fork with my fingers and realised how gritty it felt. I made enquiries with Autarky and they confirmed my suspicions that it was crushed bone. I was assured that it is safe because of the size of the particles but I am still concerned about it, especially as it coincided with small amount of blood in stools.
On the plus side the dog with the sensitive tummy was happy to eat it mixed in with her usual make and it didn't upset her tummy. The other one clearly didn't like the texture as it stuck to his teeth and he became a bit constipated but did clear the bowl.
On the whole I would say it is an ok food but I am not sure I would purchase it again, I still have several tins left to use up so will see how it goes.
