Prices and Taxes

  

All our prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and where appropriate include UK VAT at 17.5%.
 
Delivery Costs

The total cost of each order will include a postage/delivery charge. The postage/delivery cost will be clearly shown for all but the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and Ireland,where the cost will be £12.00 to £16.00 per 30Kg. Please contact us for a quote before you commit to buying. Prices are DPD costs based on the size & weight of the item if delivery address is outside are own delivery area or inside our delivery area and under £35 before VAT and delivery. The delivery cost in our delivery area is £4.99 for orders over £35 before VAT and delivery.

 
Payment

For goods bought online payment may be made via your credit or debit card. We only accept payment by the following cards: UKVisa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, and UK Maestro. You can also pay by Cheque.

Cheques should be made payable to Berriewood Wholesale. 
 
Confirmation of Order

Once you have sent an online order you will get a receipt confirming the details of your order with an order confirmation number. Your goods should reach you within 3-7 days, subject to availability of stock. Goods paid for by cheque will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared unless you already have an arrangment with us.

 

 

If no flavours are given to us in the note section we will pack a good mix of all the flavours.
 
Substitute Goods

If we are unable to send your goods within five days we will contact you with this information and may at the same time offer you alternative goods. We will not send substitute goods without your consent.
 
Unwanted Goods/ Returns Policy

If you change your mind or feel the items received are not as described, you can return them for a full refund of the price of the item(s). The cost of postage or delivery charge is not refundable. If you wish to return the goods you must advise us of your intention to do so within 48 hours, and return them to us in the original packaging within fourteen days of your receiving the goods. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods and ensuring they are returned to us in the condition you received them. Please note we reserve the right to charge a 10% handling charge for cancelled orders. This amount, where charged, will be deducted from your refund.
 
Faulty Goods

For packaging or goods that are received damaged or faulty you must contact us within 48 hours, without using or further unpacking the goods, and return them to us by Royal Mail recorded delivery within fourteen days. Please contact us if you would like us to arrange collection. Damaged goods will be replaced or refunded according to your wishes, including the cost of return postage, when we have received the item.

 

 

The amount of food your dog needs varies according to its breed, size and level of activity. Lactating bitches can eat up to three times as much as the indicated serving. We have provided guidelines for each food however all packs carry detailed feeding instructions for you to adjust your dogs feeding amounts to their individual needs.

Always supply plenty of clean, fresh water.

 

Product weights and sizes are provided as a helpful guide only to help you to choose the most appropriate product. However the final choice must be yours. In the event of a customer purchasing an item mistakenly and through no fault of Berriewood Wholesale please see our returns policy.

 

VAT Free Complete Dog Foods are sold on condition that they are fed to Working dogs in accordance with H.M.R.C Reference 701/15 (March 2002) item 6.4.

As with any dog chew or toy, owners should always monitor the pets chewing activity. If your dog is an agressive chewer and is capable of breaking off an unusally large piece, take that piece away from your dog immediately  and continue monitoring chewing activity.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with the law and our internal security policy.
