Poppy likes the biscuits. I tried these for a change. As yet it is early days to see how effective it is as she has only been eating this for one week

I bought this for my dog to loose weight. So far she lost 1 kg. It’s quite early to say it’s do the job. But my dog like it and agree with her stomach.

As yet my little dog has not lost any weight so can't make a very positive coming.

We've had our previously overweight Retriever on this for about 2 years and from being Mr Podge (as called by the vet!) he is now slimline and they wish we'd entered him for the canine 'slimmer of the year'. He's still full of energy and loves his food.

I would like to know what the nutritional adequacy statement reads as; ie what is the AAFCO statement say? Thanks
The Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) is an American organisation and you would have to go to their website to find out information from them. They have no jurisdiction over foods sold in the UK, which is where we are based.

my dog has been diagnosed with diabetes & to buy from the vet is very expensive
High fibre diets like this are commonly used to help with the treatment of diabetes in dogs. You should make sure your vet knows what diet you are using and you follow all other instructions. Hills r/d is used for overweight dogs with diabetes and w/d is used for dogs of healthy weight with diabetes. There are other (eg. high protein) diets which can also be used as an alternative, but it is best to use whatever your vet advises.
